Scope: this is a stabilising release of R1. The following GitHub issues were addressed:

Updates on registration and user management

  • Extended role management: The following roles for members of a company are now supported:
Role Permissions
Company Admin A member of the company that got all rights on the NIMBLE platform (except for assigning external/legal representatives)
External Representative Somebody from outside the company that got all rights connected to the company on the NIMBLE platform (except for assigning external/legal representatives)
Legal Representative The legally liable representative of your company. Usually a single person. Has got all rights on the NIMBLE platform
Monitor Can observe sales, purchases and relevant business data on the NIMBLE platform without executing the associated business processes
Publisher Can publish and maintain the catalogues of the company
Purchaser Can observe purchases on the NIMBLE platform and execute the associated business processes
Sales Offices Can observe sales on the NIMBLE platform and execute the associated business processes
  • Improved management of company members:
    • Roles can be selected during invitation process
    • Roles can be changed after the user accepted the invitation
    • Company memberships can be removed
    • Invitation of existing users with no associated company
  • End-User License Agreement (EULA): Users have to accept the End-User License Agreement (EULA) of NIMBLE at registration time
  • Added user manuals
  • Extended company registration and settings (VAT Number, Verification Info, Website, Switch for deviating delivery address)
  • Changing company data upon request

Updates on dashboard and search

  • Improved dashboard functionality (separate tabs for sales/purchases, direct links to business processes, improved sorting)
  • Improved text-based search results
  • Added explorative search functionality

Updates on publishing and catalogue services

  • Improved catalogue management (minimized visualization, added search and filter functionality)
  • Added option to assign custom categories to published products
  • Added form input controls during the product publishing
  • Added boolean and quantity types for custom properties
  • Improved visualization of product properties
  • Increased the maximum allowed content size for product description and properties
  • Added UI tests (based on Selenium)

  • Added Product Parts Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Added UI tests (based on Selenium)
