The novel, federated approach
for Industry B2B Platforms.

Edition #3 | February 2017

We proudly announce the RELEASE 1 of the NIMBLE platform has been officially issued in mid-December 2017. The current release includes the following main functionalities:

  • Company registration and products' catalogue creation and upload;
  • Product/Company search and browsing;
  • Simple business processes for products' buyers, sellers and logistics providers.

The platform - together with some supporting material and source code - is accessible from our project website. This is just our first step of quarterly-based releases plan that will continuously upgrade the current platform in order to enrich the service offering and increase the robustness and usability.

As part of WP4 activities, use case partners (lead by LTU) have started the validation of the platform, in order to feedback bugs and possible improvements. The validation process covers both usability and functional aspects. On 19th January, NIMBLE Release 1 was tested during a validation day in Bremen for the Lindbäcks use case and this was a very worthwhile exercise, involving Uni Bremen, Balance, Lindbäcks and Podcomp. The same exercise will be replicated in Italy and Spain by the other use case partners.Then, starting from the next release (March 2018), the validation will progressively engage with external companies, in order to start populating the platform.
If you wish to become a tester of the platform, please contact us and/or join our community (see below). We will engage and introduce you the opportunity.
